Wafilin showcases local partnerships to Mayor Buma

One of the most important reasons for us to be able to excel in our work is the many partnerships we have established with local businesses. During our inception, we chose to settle in Leeuwarden due to the many capable companies within the region, with whom we are closely working to this day. Because of this, we were very honored to give a presentation about our business during the visit of Sybrand Buma, mayor of Leeuwarden, and the council to the Watercampus in Leeuwarden this Friday.

Henk Schonewille, CEO of Wafilin Systems, gave a short presentation about our company, interesting applications and the importance of partnerships to the delegation. Afterwards, mayor Buma got a tour of our R&D facilities at the Water Application Centre (WAC) and the Food Application Centre for Technology (FACT), which are both close partners of Wafilin. Here, we were able to show the mayor how we constantly strive toward innovation, together with our resourceful partners at HVHL.

Through the company visit, we wanted to show the mayor how we strive to stimulate growth in the region. Together, we can make sure that Leeuwarden and its’ surrounding region stay the best place for companies in food & water technology.

It is through our local partners that we have been able to successfully deliver our services to our customers, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to work with these great companies to contribute to the circular economy, in order to create a better future for the next generations.
