Wafilin Systems develops a system for fatty acids recovery

Wafilin Systems B.V. will develop an installation with which short to medium-sized fatty acid chains can be isolated by means of membrane technology.

With this process Wafilin Systems B.V. will purify effluent from digesters, using ultrafiltration as pretreatment and nanofiltration for the isolation and concentrating of fatty acids.

This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (EFRO).
